VoteWatch
VoteWatch.eu is an independent organisation set up to promote better debates and greater transparency in EU decision-making by providing easy access as well as analysis of the votes and other activities of the European Parliament (EP) and the Council of Ministers (Council). VoteWatch provides information for citizens, journalists, NGOs, interest groups, politicians, civil servants, and anyone else interested in the policy positions, voting records and coalition formation trends of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
VoteWatch utilizes EU's own attendance, voting and activity data available through their websites in order to give a full overview of the activities of MEPs and Member States. Most of the data covering the European Parliament is gathered automatically from the Parliament's own website. In addition, the Parliament's secretariat provides VoteWatch with machine-readable files. Information on the activities of EP is updated daily following each voting session. Council votes are updated as and when voting data is made available by the Council secretariat. The Council meets in ten different configurations, based on the policy area. You may follow VoteWatch on Facebook or Twitter, if you are interested in receiving immediate updates.
VoteWatch applies sophisticated statistical methods developed by political scientists from the London School of Economics and New York University. The website covers activities of the European Parliament and Council since 2009. In addition, statistics of the European Parliament dating back to 2004 are available on the website. VoteWatch Europe is run by a small professional team, which combines skills and expertise in EU affairs with extensive experience in the development and use of online transparency tools for VoteWatch Europe

A substandard private shelter in Romania 2014, where volunteers are struggling with snowstorms and dogs that suffering in the cold (and die) - but what is the choice for the dogs? ... starve in freedom, being poisoned, being hit by cars or beaten and killed by both the government and bad people....or other atrocities. Romania government and other countries that have stray dogs and cats are responsible for this cruelty. We have lost patience because they do nothing to curb the escalating dog popluationen humanely, but murdering, starving and torturing dogs and cats to death - we, the EU citizens, require a transfer of the responsibility for the welfare of companion animals to the EU!
